Alleah Thompson
Meet
Speech Language Therapist
Hi, I’m Alleah Thompson! I was born and raised in Westfield, Indiana, and now live in Broad Ripple while working full-time as a speech-language pathologist at Carmel Middle School. I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University and my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
from Purdue University in 2021.

My career began in Nashville, Tennessee, where I worked in outpatient pediatrics, ABA, and elementary schools. Since then,
I’ve had the joy of working with children from ages two to twenty, each with their own unique personalities, goals, and strengths.
I’ve never been able to choose a single specialty because I truly love every part of this field.

I discovered speech therapy after a career counseling session pointed me toward it, and I’m so thankful I followed that path.
I’m endlessly curious about what motivates people and love finding creative ways to help each child connect and communicate.
I believe authentic connection is at the heart of all progress, and I value collaborating with families and fellow therapists
to support growth across every environment.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my ten nieces and nephews, staying active outdoors, and finding my next travel adventure.
After visiting Poland last summer, I’m always on the lookout for new European destinations to explore!
