Ally Reckers
Meet
Occupational Therapist
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and completed
my undergraduate education at the University of Dayton,
where I studied health sciences, psychology, and medical humanities.
I completed my postgraduate studies at the University of Indianapolis, earning my Doctor of Occupational Therapy in 2023.
My professional, post-graduate experience in outpatient pediatrics
and early intervention services has helped me develop a passion
for sensory processing and modulation, executive functioning,
emotional regulation, feeding/eating,and parent/caregiver coaching!

Hi, my name is Ally! I am so excited to be a part of the One Mind family. I have a passion for helping families through a client- and family-centered, collaborative approach! I have worked with kiddos since I was a teenager, including babysitting, teaching dance classes,
helping to run a program inclusive to kiddos who rely on wheelchairs for daily mobility, and participating as a respite service provider
for the Autism Society of Indiana.
Through collaborative goal-setting and a deeper understanding of family routines and values, I am able to come alongside families to work towards improved quality of life for the child and family. I love using mindfulness, journaling, sensory regulation strategies, and artistic expression to improve quality of life, executive functioning, and regulation, thereby enhancing independence in daily activities.
In my free time, I enjoy adventuring and exploring new places with my husband and dog, FaceTiming my niece, reading new books,
serving in Kids Ministry at my local church, teaching dance, and crafting.
