Over the course of my career, I have been so lucky to work with individuals from birth through adulthood. I have worked in First Steps, outpatient clinics, and medical facilities. Through these experiences, I have found that my greatest passion lies in working with children with complex communication needs and feeding and swallowing difficulties. I believe the throughline of these areas is the relationship building and foundation of trust necessary to try new, hard things. I think it is especially important to have a strong connection not just with children but with the whole family as an active part of the therapy team, so progress can continue across environments. I have coached parents in one-on-one sessions, group training sessions, and as a conference presenter.

I work hard to be a neurodiversity affirming therapist. I am always learning and growing in my practice so I can provide the highest level of care to each individual family I work with. I strive to be child-led and make therapy both fun and functional because I believe children learn best through play.

When I am not working, I am often either at home crafting or out at antique/thrift stores. My husband and I also love to cook (hence our dogs, Taco and Gouda), so we are always trying new recipes to make for our family and friends!
