Mental Health Therapist

Hello! I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a well-rounded background in both school-based and outpatient mental health settings. I have experience providing individual and group therapy to adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, relational issues, and life transitions. I have also facilitated adolescent intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and worked at a specialized eating disorder treatment agency, where I supported clients through recovery using evidence-based interventions. I am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed techniques, art therapy, and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. I also have experience working in faith-based environments and value incorporating a holistic lens into my therapeutic work.

I’ve always felt called to walk alongside others in their healing journey, and my own experience with mental health has deepened my compassion and sense of purpose as a therapist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ball State University and completed my Master’s in Social Work through Indiana University’s accelerated advanced standing program, with a focus on mental health and addictions. Since that time, I’ve had the privilege of working in both private practice and school settings, supporting children and teens facing a wide range of challenges. My passion lies in creating a safe, validating space where clients can explore who they are, navigate life’s challenges, and recognize their inherent worth and resilience.

When working with families, I believe that collaboration is key. I value open communication and view parents and caregivers as essential partners in the therapeutic process. I aim to keep you involved and informed throughout your child’s therapy journey, regularly checking in on goals and progress. Together, we’ll explore strategies that help your child build emotional regulation skills, strengthen relationships, and improve overall well-being. My approach is always individualized, strengths-based, and focused on meeting each child where they are developmentally and emotionally.

Outside of my work at One Mind, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Quentin, and our families. I love traveling, hiking, building Lego sets, trying out new coffee shops, and deepening my faith through church involvement. I also find joy in creative outlets like reading and painting. These personal passions keep me grounded and energized, so I can show up fully for the clients and families I serve.
