Molly Biggs

Meet

Mental Health Therapist

Hello, I’m Molly! I am dedicated to empowering children and families by fostering growth, independence, and emotional well-being. With a strong background in School Social Work, I have gained experience working within the HSE and Carmel Clay Schools and specialize in addressing mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, academic pressure, and family dynamics, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet each child’s individual needs. These include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and creative methods such as art therapy.

I believe every child is unique, with their own set of strengths and challenges. My goal is to empower children by equipping them with essential skills for emotional growth, resilience, and independence. I work closely with both children and their families to ensure a collaborative approach to therapy. My mission is to help children build confidence in facing life’s challenges, both at home and in other environments, while fostering strong relationships with their families.

When working with families, I focus on creating a strong, supportive partnership to ensure every child’s needs are met. I believe in open communication and will regularly check in with you to ensure we’re on the same page. Together, we’ll explore different strategies to help your child build resilience, develop coping skills, and improve emotional well-being. My approach is always collaborative, with the goal of empowering both parents and children to handle challenges in a healthy and effective way.

Outside of my work with One Mind, I’m passionate about spending time with my family and exploring creative outlets, such as painting, journaling, and writing. I also enjoy hiking and reading, and I’m always eager to learn new ways to improve both personally and professionally. These activities help me stay balanced and inspired, so I can bring my best self to my work with families.
