Lead Speech Language Therapist

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's of Science degree in Communication Disorders. I began practicing as a Speech Language Pathologist in 2011. In my 12 years of experience, I have worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, hospitals, schools, and pediatric outpatient clinics. I have been a part of the assessment teams both within the schools and for the Indiana Early Intervention Birth to Three program. I strongly believe a comprehensive assessment should include a holistic approach to create a plan of care.

My passion resides in working alongside families to help improve both the parents’ and the child’s quality of life. I specialize in working with toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children with oral-motor, feeding, and speech disorders. While I am most passionate about these areas, I also evaluate and treat receptive/expressive language, social skills, and augmentative communication. Within the field, I strive to collaborate with other professionals in order to help maximize results for my clients.

At home, I have a family that means the world to me. My daughter attends Heritage Christian, and we are true Heritage Eagle fans! I also have a three-year-old Aussiedoodle named Ziggy, who is quite the rambunctious character. In my downtime, I enjoy hiking, taking long walks, traveling, and playing board games with family and friends. In the summer, you can often find me enjoying sunny days, boating on Geist with family and friends.
