Remy’s story began with humble roots; she was adopted from Indianapolis Animal Care Services. From the start, she has walked alongside Kennedy in the therapy world. Remy attended every class with Kennedy at the University of Indianapolis and was even invited
to walk at graduation, which she proudly did.

After their first year working in a middle school, Kennedy submitted Remy’s story to the PetSmart Charities Pet Love Story campaign.
Her journey resonated deeply, raising an incredible $15,000 for Indianapolis Animal Care and Control.

In sessions, Remy is calm, cool, and collected. Her strong training foundation makes her an excellent partner for building
kids’ confidence. Children often enjoy teaching their new tricks, guiding them through obstacle courses, taking walks with them,
or simply sitting quietly on the couch. Her gentle, steady demeanor brings comfort and security to the therapy space.

Remy also plays a unique role in feeding therapy. As a selective eater herself, she often joins kids in exploring new foods:
sniffing, licking, or cautiously trying them. This shared experience helps children feel more at ease with their own challenges.

Remy proudly holds the honor of being the very first One Mind Therapy Dog, setting a high standard for warmth, skill,
and connection in her work.
