Lead Occupational Therapist
I’ve been working in occupational therapy for over 10 years, and throughout that time, my work has been guided by a deep belief in family centered, whole-person care. My professional journey has allowed me to grow in a variety of roles, from serving as a lead occupational therapist to working as a clinical manager in an outpatient pediatric clinic to teaching future practitioners as a professor in a university occupational therapy program.

Across each of these roles, my focus has remained the same: helping individuals and families feel supported, understood, and empowered in their everyday lives.
I hold a master’s degree in occupational therapy and a post-professional doctorate with an emphasis on family-centered practice. My advanced training includes feeding, eating, and swallowing; mental health from an occupational therapy perspective; lifestyle management; and infant massage. I’m especially passionate about supporting regulation, daily routines, and meaningful participation in life’s activities, always through a collaborative lens that values each family’s unique experience.
In addition to clinical work, I’ve published on professionalism and belonging, reflecting my broader interest in creating environments, in healthcare and beyond, where people feel safe, respected, and able to thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, hiking, and spending time with my wife, our daughter, and our golden retriever, Leo.
