Meet

Occupational Therapist

My name is Theodore Joseph Hartman, but I go by TJ. I received
my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Science from Chicago State University in May 2016. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Telecommunications from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana,
in 2004. After graduation, I pursued diverse roles in sales, marketing,
and music while raising my family before discovering
my passion for occupational therapy.

I am incredibly fortunate to work in a field that allows me to positively impact people’s daily lives. I have dedicated half
of my OT career to working with adults and the other half to working with children who have developmental disabilities.
My experience in pediatric occupational therapy stems from my family’s personal journey with a child who has developmental differences. This allows me to approach my work with pediatric clients not only from a professional perspective but also with empathy for the parents’ experiences. I am always pleased to share my family’s experiences to help optimize the development of daily living skills for my clients.
